Is this course for me?
This course is for new or potential union representatives who
wish to find out more about becoming more active in their union and
representing members.
What will I study?
This course provides a basic introduction to the role of a shop
steward or union representative.
What can I do next?
This can lead to the Union Representatives Stage 1 course.
This can lead to employment in:

What are the entry requirements?
You will need to be selected by your trade union to join this
course.
How will I be assessed?
Assessment is carried out by the course tutor on evidence
generated during the course. Students meet regularly with tutors to
help plan studies and discuss progress.
What will it cost?
If you are under 19 and a home student, in most circumstances,
you don't pay any fees. However, you will need to find this out
when you apply.
