Programme Structure & Content
Information Systems and Management is a Joint Honours degree.
First & Second Year
In first year, students take appropriate courses in Computing, Management, and Accountancy; in second year, the emphasis is on Computing and Management.
Third & Fourth Year (Honours)
Honours students divide their time equally between Computing and Management courses. Honours pathways allow students to specialise in either Distributed Information Systems or Knowledge Technologies.
Teaching & Assessment
The majority of courses are supported by Web-based material, usually including full course notes. In third and fourth year, as well as completing a project, students enjoy a variety of lectures and practicals. Assessment is by a mixture of coursework and examination.
