Course Description
Do you want to be: Information Technology Manager or Supervisor, Database Administrator, Information Officer, Office Administrator, IT Solutions Developer. This course is designed to give students extensive skills in IT applications, database design and administration, user support, business functions, finance and IT legislation. The aim of the course is to lead to employment or further studies. If you wish to further your studies when you finish the course, then the HND award, will allow Progression into various university IT and Information Systems degree courses; particularly at Glasgow Caledonian University and the University of the West of Scotland respectively.

Preferred Entry Requirements
One Higher Grade pass (A - C) and three Standard Grade passes (1 3) to include evidence of numeracy and communication skills, OR appropriate SQA NC modules or NQ units. Candidates over 21 may be accepted with lower qualifications, depending on work experience.
