This course is designed for practising Electricians who have a sound knowledge of BS 7671:2008 Amd 1 wiring regulations and practical skills in testing electrical installations.

It is the Level 3 Award in the City & Guilds 2394 Initial Verification and Certification of Electrical Installations (2394-01). This is one part of the two new courses that have replaced the C&G 2391 (Certificate in Inspection, Testing and Certification of Electrical Installations (2391-10).

About this course




City & Guilds 2395-01 level 3 Award in the Periodic Inspection, Testing and Certification of Electrical Installations. This is the second part that has replaced the C&G 2391.

Alternatively, proceed to employment in Inspection and Testing for Electrical Installations.


City & Guilds 2330 Level 3 or 2360 Part 2 is the normal route. Recent completion of the BS7671:2008 2011 is required as the changes to the Wiring Regulations have led to several changes in testing and inspection criteria.
