Course goals:
After attending this course you will have:
- A better understanding of how to integrate the following treatment concepts into your clinical practice: muscle energy, myofascial triggerpoints, fascial release (myofascial and viscerofascial) strain/counterstrain and nags & snags.
- A better understanding of articular function in relationship to their surrounding ligamentous, myofascial and viscerofascial structures.
- Improved palpatory skills in relation to locating fascial restriction whether it be local or global in nature.
- A way of differentiating between implicated structures, such as cervical spine and coracoclavicular ligament or ac joint etc.. and therefore a method of prioritising, treatment goals.
