Interior Decoration and Styling

In a stimulating introduction to the interior decoration and styling process, you will develop your skills and references around a domestic project, devised for a fictional client. This course will Introduce you to interior design history as you become familiar with the vocabulary of design, period, styles, colour, materials and finishes.

Structured around a domestic project brief, you will demonstrate your understanding and apply your creativity to interior design and furnish a room layout. You will also explore lighting, soft furnishings, textiles and trends, helping you to extend your knowledge of their application and usage with confidence. Your tutor will impart their expertise and experience to guide you throughout the course; from sourcing the relevant materials to the final presentation of each aspect of your project.
