Subjects covered The Apprenticeship provides an opportunity to develop the skills & knowledge needed to support learners and includes the following four components: 1. Certificate in Supporting Teaching & Learning in Schools (Level 2): Mandatory Units: Child & young person development Safeguarding the welfare of children & young people Communication & professional relationships with children, young people and adult Equality, diversity and inclusion in work with children & young people Maintain and support relationships with children & young people Support children & young people’s health & safety Support children & young people’s positive behaviour Support Learning activities Help improve own and team practice in schools 2.
