Intermediate Silver Jewellery

We love silver jewellery and if you do to then you will love this class... it is the perfect follow on from the beginners silver jewellery class and will allow you to work in more complex ways with silver. It is also suitable for anyone who has previous experience in making silver jewellery and would like to develop their skills.

There is quite a lot of flexibility in terms of what can be made so that you can work on a piece from your own designs.

Examples of some of the techniques covered in previous intermediate classes include:
- More complex silver pieces.
- Multiple solder joints.
- Rings, bangles or earrings.
And much more...

What you need to bring to this class:
For this class you don't need to bring anything but yourself as everything is provided. However, it is a good idea to think about what you would like to make and bring any ideas you have; pictures, sketches or pieces you like. Don't worry if you don't have a project in mind as we have plenty of inspiration around our workshop too. The price of this course includes a silver allowance which is generally enough to make one to two pieces depending on size. Students who wish to make larger pieces can do so; if a student goes over their dedicated allowance then the extra is paid per gram at the going rate.

General Info:
As with all of our classes, all materials are included in the cost of the class as well as plenty of tea coffee and luxury biscuits! The classes are all run by expert tutors with years of professional experience who are friendly, knowledgeable and approachable. The size of the classes is kept small to allow plenty of one-on-one attention and the maximum number of students for this class is 8.

We take an hour break for lunch and there are plenty of local shops to get food from, or you can always bring a packed lunch to eat in the studio. If you have any questions regarding this, or other courses please don't hesitate to get in touch.
