Jewellery - Beginners Wire Wrapping

What I would highlight: Yes, I got lots out of it and think others will too.

The tutor and staff are very friendly, knowledgeable and relaxed. It was a great venue and most of all I loved learning to make the wire wrapped pieces. In just one day we covered rings, pendants and earrings. I had done some beading before but wire wrapping is quite a different technique and I now feel that I can do so much more with my jewellery making. Oh and the biscuits are lovely too!
Yes. The London Jewellery School is a great place to learn, it has a great atmosphere, the tutor was excellent and their classes are very good value for money.

I have also done a beginners beading class here and in that class I made 7 pieces in one day. I have been to other jewellery classes but found this school to be the best in terms of value for money, teachers experience whilst also being fun. One of the best things is the class sizes there are a maximum of 7 per class which meant we could all have one-on-one time with the tutor.
What could be improved: Nothing - It was all fab!

If I had to choose something it would be going home - I wanted to stay and make jewellery forever, I am definitely hooked!

What I would highlight: I had been looking for a wire wrapping class like this for ages, it was great! The pieces are quite complex but the tutor was very patient and good at explaining and demonstrating all of the techniques. By the end of the day we all had made 3 pieces and I was really excited to continue at home. The class size was nice and small so we each got lots of one-on-one advice. The school was lovely and the staff very friendly and I will be back soon! - Highly Recommended!

History

London Jewellery School was set up in early 2008 by the young entrepreneur Jessica van Zanten. It has been growing rapidly and we now have a number or staff and over 15 different tutors teaching a huge range of classes who are all specialists in their fields. London Jewellery Schools moto is that 'Everyone can Make Jewellery' and the school was founded on the ethos that jewellery making should not just be for an elite class of highly trained people but that everyone who wants to should be able to make lovely jewellery as a fun hobby, sideline business or profession.

Advantages of studying here

We have a lovely location in London where all students are welcomed with a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Our classes are great value for money and in most cases all materials are provided as part of the course fee meaning that their are no extra or hidden costs so what you see is what you get! We have excellent tutors who are specialists in their fields and ready and willing to share as much information with students as possible.
