About this course

Students require a good honours degree (or equivalent) in a subject related to tourism, business or service sector management. It would normally be expected that this degree be awarded at the level of lower second class or above. Other graduates who can demonstrate a commitment to the study of festivals or event management or who have significant experience in the service sector industry will also be considered for entry.

Course programme

Programme at a Glance

This is a 12 month course comprising three parts. The first two parts are the taught element and the final part is consists of research and writing the dissertation element. The taught element focuses on key aspects of tourism and management. For full-time students, the taught element is normally completed over a nine month period starting in October. Part-time students will normally attend on a one day a week basis and complete the taught element in two years.
