About this course
Students must be 17 years of age and have qualifications equivalent to 5 GCSEs Grade C, in the form of HKCEE grades, High School and/ or Senior School Examination grades. Students should have an IELTS grade of 4.5.
Students with IELTS 4.0 would be encouraged to take an Intensive English course prior to commencing the Foundation course.

International Foundation Year in Information Technology
Level 3 Wisemore Campus 1 Year (Full Time)
This full time programme is designed as a shorter route to university entrance. Students will undertake six Edexcel National in Information Technology units over a period of one year.
Candidates must take at least six units chosen from the list below. All of the Units are designated as NQF level 3. The successful completion of six units will guarantee a place on the two year Higher National Diploma in Information Technolgy at Walsall College or provide a progression route to a BSc degree in Information Technology, or related areas, at most UK universities. Business English and IELTS preparation classes are compulsory units of the course.

Progression
Degree in Information Technology or Professional qualifications related to IT. Achievement of at least six units will be accepted as evidence of matriculation by most UK universities and given a successful interview would enable candidates to join Computing degree programmes the following October. Our partner universities include Keele, Aston, Wolverhampton, Huddersfield, MMU and Salford.
