The International Foundation Year - Science Route fully prepares international students for entry onto a wide range of science-related undergraduate degree programmes.
It may suit you if you are an international student with the potential and motivation to succeed, but currently without the formal qualifications for entry to one of our undergraduate degree programmes.
Our International Foundation Year - Science Route guarantees all students who pass with the required grades, progression onto a range of science-related degree programmes at the University.

Course programme
This International Foundation Year - Science Route is a one-year foundation year (level 0) programme taught at National Qualification Framework (NQF) level 3. The International Foundation Year - Science Route provides a firm grounding in the subjects required for the students' intended undergraduate degree programmes. Those who successfully complete the International Foundation Year by achieving specific grades are admitted to level 1 of one of a wide range of science-related undergraduate degree programmes offered by the University of Leeds.
