Introduction to Body Massage Course
Massage is a fantastic skill to have and this Introduction to Body Massage is a short and highly affordable course aimed at people who either:
-
Want to try a taster in body massage before committing to a longer, more intensive Diploma training.
-
Just want to practise on partners, friends and family and learn some useful skills to feel more confident when massaging.
-
Enjoy a relaxing weekend and meet new people.
The course runs over just one weekend during which time you will learn a basic full body massage training. You will learn by practising on fellow students, or your friend or partner you come with, thereby receiving a massage on each session yourself!
The weekend will teach you how to learn and develop your massage skills by working with classical massage techniques. You will learn how to formulate a routine to use on the body, working on the back, legs, feet, arms, head, chest and abdomen. The course will hopefully inspire your creative side and will be based on fun, relaxation, and developing your intuition. Handouts will accompany the course.
This course will be taught by Michael Gibbons, principal and co-founder of The College of Classical Massage, Brighton. Michael has been working in this field since 1991 and brings together a fusion of massage skills from varied styles, to be taught on this weekend.
