Course programme
This short course in specifically designed to give participants an introduction into bricklaying where you will be taught by professionals who have a wealth of experience from working in the industry. You will learn how to select and use the correct tools and equipment for the job, and to identify the right materials to use.
The course will also include:
- General health and safety and setting up your work area
- Setting out the job
- Correct use of hand tools
- Spreading and laying bricks
- Building a simple corner in half-brick walling
- How to finish the joints
Stout footwear is required (no open toe sandals or high heels permitted). Overalls or old clothes are also recommended.
