Introduction to Colour Printing from Film

During this course students will learn how to:

• enlarge colour negatives
• correct and manipulate colour and exposure to produce traditional c-type prints
• make contact prints from negatives
• select and edit for printing
• further darkroom techniques of dodging, burning and paper sensitisation
• understand density, contrast controls and paper types
• produce a final series of C-Type prints
• gain confidence and skill in experimenting with colour analogue film
