Introduction to Computers The course will introduce you to the basic concepts of computing including turning it on and off, using the mouse and other bits of hardware, understanding the jargon, and creating some basic documents, spreadsheets and emails. The training computer could be either a PC or Laptop. The course will go at a steady pace and include a light hearted approach to computing. No previous experience necessary Course Objectives
By the end of this level you will be able to:

  • To create, save and retrieve documents, spreadsheets and emails
  • Carry out file management and housekeeping duties
  • Carry out simple word processing tasks
  • Create a simple spreadsheet including formulas
  • Send and receive emails
