Introduction to Counselling Skills

Course Time: Tuesdays, 8pm to 10pm.

Course Content:

This short course held over two evenings has been designed to introduce you to basic counselling skills.

The two sessions cover:

1st eve content:

  • Basic counselling
  • Being a good Listener
  • Body language
  • Reflective listening skills
  • Paraphrasing.

2nd eve content:

  • The process of grieving
  • Stages of grief and loss
  • Assisting people to work through loss
  • (certificate of attendance awarded).
