Students should gain good understanding of the concepts and techniques of Person Centred Counselling, built into a three stage model of helping. The course is certificated by the COUNSELLING PSYCHOTHERAPY CENTRAL AWARDING BODY (CPCAB).
Learning is evidenced by meeting criteria based on these seven units which can be documented in a weekly journal, skill practice feedback from peers and the tutor to produce a complete portfolio.
To pass the course the portfolio work needs to be marked as ‘proficient’.
