Introduction to Curtain Making

During this workshop, you will learn how to construct a pencil pleat curtain to a professional standard. We will take you through the construction process from accurately cutting out your fabric and forming mitred corners to the hand stitches that produce a quality finish. During the day we will also discuss fitting, complete a practical exercise on how to measure plus calculate fabric quantities for plain fabric. Fabric requirements for this workshop are one metre of curtain fabric and one metre of lining fabric.
