The Introduction to Etching short course builds upon skills already learnt in the Introduction to Intaglio Printmaking: Collagraphy course or those who already have an intermediate knowledge of etching. You'll explore the rich language and many techniques used in etching. You'll also become informed about the different etching styles and develop an awareness of your own practice.

With demonstrations and one-to-one support, you'll develop your personal creative ideas and imagery through these techniques to arrive at a rewarding portfolio of etchings.
This course is suitable for those who have already attended the Introduction to Intaglio: Collagraphy short course or who already have intermediate printmaking knowledge.

Course aims and benefits:
