12pm to 1.30pm: Creating a simple collaged illustration
2.30pm to 3.30pm: Creating playful, illustrated hand-drawn type
3.30pm to 5.00pm: Sketchingout a simple A6 narrative book
5pm to 5.30pm: Q&A about the publishing industry.


By the end of the course, you will learn to:
  • create a series of quick playful drawings
  • visually communicate a word using collage
  • create a series of illustrated type
  • make a simple six-page illustrated book
  • gain an overview of the contemporary illustration industry
