Course structureThe course will be divided in six sessions where the following topics will be discussed:
- Photoshop basics: Use of base tools (custom brushes, clone stamp, vector masks, transformations), layer modes, Photoshop interface and shortcuts, adjustment layers and use of most common filters
- Composition theory: types of compositions, value analysis and photographic approach to visualization. Historical and modern examples of painters and photographers of successful architectural images
- Workflow techniques: Organization of layers, order and use of light and colour correction, differentiation between background, middle-ground and foreground
- Practical One: First part of a live practical example of a visualization
- Practical Two: Second part of a live practical example of a visualization
- Practical Three: Practical lesson where we will work with images proposed/ created by the students. Critique session and final questions
