Shopping centers should be built in special locations and their design should be flexible enough to meet new product combinations in a radically changing retail environment.
You can explore and use the many products available to help understand consumers and watersheds. You will see various construction designs and operation strategies. You will be presented with the financial modeling of retail property assets and you will understand about sustainability regulations and new technologies.

Identify the characteristics and demands of the different shopping centers carrying out case studies throughout the course. You will also have the opportunity to try our new game "The perfect mall" competing with your teammates.

This course will help you review the definition, history, economy, evolution and life cycle of shopping centers. You will review the conceptual frameworks used to understand who adds value and in what part of the project or the life cycle of the investment.

You will receive information about the types of data, data collection techniques, and external data sources that are useful for calculating shopping center KPIs. Use KPIs to help understand, position and adapt to watersheds and markets.
