Using the free Microsoft SQL Server Express Edition you will learn the principles of relational databases and SQL and cover the following topics.
• Compare the advantages of a Relational Database to a Flat file.
• Define the different language components of SQL (DDL, DML and DQL)
• Introduction to Normalisation
• Introduction to the MS SQL Server Interface
• Create, manage and query a RDBMS.
