Introduction to TV Presenting
There are over 420 digital TV channels in the UK including 47 shopping, 44 entertainment, 37 sport and 24 children's. There are a similar number of radio stations nationwide. Where are their presenters going to come from? Why not you?
Add to that the boom in internet content delivery where anyone with a webcam can create their own overnight sensation, and the possibilities for presenters are endless.
What is the course content ?
This new two day course, with camera and autocue, will give you the confidence and skills to audition for a wide variety of TV presenting jobs. You will use professional scripts and cover presenting to camera, talking to time, interviewing guests, reading autocue, demos, audition technique, how to find a TV presenting job and presenting CVs. With a maximum of 8 participants the course will include plenty of on-camera practical work, and you will be given a professional mini DV cam tape of your work at the end of the course with the unedited material from both days.
