Course programme
The course will include a brief history of curating, and projects, which have been curated in and outside gallery or museum spaces, for example, in other public spaces or with a community – sometimes called site-specific art projects. Artists and community co- curating are growing trends, and we will look at some of these projects. We will discuss how other ideas (e.g. Social, health, conflict) can be curated through contemporary art. We will look at the interpretation of artwork, and how contemporary art can be communicated to a wide audience.
