Course programme

This comprehensive programme is approved by IOSH, the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health, which is the chartered body for health and safety professionals. The intensive programme provides the essential knowledge and skills managers and supervisors need to ensure their teams operate safely in the workplace. The programme is suitable for anyone with responsibility for health and safety including Personnel Managers, Premises Managers, Administration Managers, Facilities Managers and Operating Managers.
On successful completion of this examination the students will obtain a Managing Safely Certificate approved by IOSH.
This is a practical, hands-on programme that includes presentations, scenarios and group discussion. Programme delegates will be given a 25 question multiple choice test on the last day of the programme and then asked to carry out a practical risk assessment on their own workplace.
