What I would highlight: Completed a diving course at The Under Water Centre, and spent a weekend doing a powerboat course with iPowerboat as part of a package! This was a great two days for me! Learnt loads about powerboats, and would love to do the next course sometime! Thanks for a great weekend - the sun did help :)

Course programme

This two day course provides the skills and background knowledge needed to drive a powerboat and is the basis of the International Certificate of Competence.

It includes close quarter handling, high speed manoeuvers, man overboard recovery, and collision regulations, securing to a buoy, anchoring, leaving and coming alongside

Assumed knowledge: None. May be preceded by Level 1

Duration: 2 days.

Minimum Age: 12. Candidates under the age of 16 will be issued with an endorsed certificate.
