How will I study?
Units include the following: • Communicating in the IT Industry • Working in the IT Industry • Website Development • Interactive Media Production • Mobile Communications Technology • Developing computer Games • Fundamentals of Computer Applications If you are a full time student aged 16-18 you will follow a study programme which will consist of your main course, enterprise and enrichment activities, Functional Skills English and Maths, GCSE retakes as well work experience.
How will I be taught?
Methods of delivery include: Practical classes, group & individual work, lectures, project work, self-study, internet research, quizzes and tests.
How will I be assessed?
Most assessment is through coursework. Functional skills requires a scenario based assessment and is completed at a suitable level for the student (Entry 3 – Level 2) .
