Introduction:
This is practical IT course is for adults who are interested in learning about the uses of IT, web development and computer systems.

Study Mode & Location:
This 36 week part-time course lasts for 12.5 hours per week and will be held at the following community venues:

  • Buckingham House Learning Centre.
  • The Harris Learning Centre (at the Harris Library).


Course Content:
On this practical work related course you will complete assignments on work-related topics and complete a number of modules which include the uses of IT, web development and computer systems.

Assessment:
This course is continually assessed through assignment work.

Careers & Progression Opportunities:
Successful completion of this course will provide opportunities for gaining a nationally recognised Level 2 vocationally specific qualification to enter employment and/or to progress to a Level 3 BTEC National Certificate or Diploma for IT Practitioners

How To Apply
You will need to have an informal interview with a Adult Admissions Adviser.
Many courses have limited places so please enquire as soon as possible. Following interview, the earliest you may enrol is mid-June.
