What will I learn?
This course encourages you to develop the personal and technical skills to work with computers. It also enables you to progress to more advanced courses in computing. It covers the following topics such as using ICT and present information, introduction to computer systems, software design and web development, numerical applications, ICT Graphics, Networking and software installation and upgrade.

How will I be taught?
The course is a mix of taught lessons and individual work. Students are expected to spend additional study hours in the Learning Resource Base in order to successfully complete this programme.

How will I be assessed?
You will be assessed through assignments, work-related projects, practical activities and the A+ on-line exam.

What could I do next?
You could progress to the Level 3 Networking course. Alternatively, some may be able to apply for placement work or employment as a computer technician.
