Lessons are held in a relaxed atmosphere. Students learn to cope in a variety of everyday situations commonly encountered on visits to Italy. A variety of teaching methods will be used including class work, group work, team work, pair work, role play, games, videos and audio cassettes. A course book will be used to supplement the course and help with simple grammar. Some homework will be set each week. You will be able to cope with a variety of everyday situations, such as asking the way, shopping for food, talking about yourself - all of which will be useful when you travel to Italy. You will also learn something about the life and culture of Italy. A College Certificate will be awarded on request.By participation, either interaction between teacher and student or through group work, pair work or role play, games etc. The four skills of speaking, listening, reading and writing will be covered but with the emphasis on speaking and listening.
