You will learn how to cook appetizers, main course meals and desserts from a cuisine professional in the cozy environment of her home kitchen in Florence, a city blessed with beautiful natural environments with rolling hills of grapes and wheat fields. The lessons are held 4 days/week, 3-4 hours each day, and you will learn as many as 65 recipes a month. The class is in a small group of seven at max, followed by lunch or dinner together. Learn the essence of Italian gastronomy with cultural insights in the heart of Tuscan cuisine!

Course programme

The main features of our Italian Home Cooking lessons are the following:

  1. The quality of the teaching is very high, with lessons 4 days a week (3~4 hours each day). Our cooking professor is a recognized culinary professional, who has published cooking books.
  2. As you probably already know, Tuscany (and its capital Florence) is the region that has the richest culinary tradition in Italy, from mushrooms to beef, cheese and wine.
  3. Cooking classes take place in a small group of max 7 persons, followed by an informal lunch (or dinner) all together. You will be able to learn from 4 to 5 dishes a day (a total of around 65 recipes per month! Please find attached the sample menu for a 4-week course).
  4. Italian Home Cooking course includes also a visit to the Central Market of Florence, together with your instructor.
