What will I learn on the Massage Therapist Course?

  • Techniques to carry out an effective whole body massage
  • Training in performing and receiving massage
  • Study the Base oils and their active ingredients
  • Learn how massage benefits the client and when not to massage (contra-indications)
  • Developing your own holistic approach and nurturing intuition
  • Training in Anatomy and Physiology of the human body, this is studied online
  • Studying common diseases and dysfunctions of the body
  • What is meant by the "Holistic Approach"
  • How to carry out a client consultation including the importance of client care & ethics
  • Health and Safety - Including First Aid skills and appropriate hygiene
  • How to set up in Business and relevant business awareness skills
  • Breathing & relaxation techniques and awareness of stress management skills
  • Self care, correct posture & minimizing therapist strain when working
  • Awareness and the importance of listening skills

Small classes ensuring individual attention

A maximum of only 8 students per class, giving you individual attention at all times. Most training schools will take double that number of studentsspecialising in small classes, individual attention.

All the students who took the last exams back in 2010, all passed with either a credit or distinction! We believe this is down to excellent tutors and the small numbers we take.

What to Wear

All students can wear a black polo shirt, comfortable black trousers and black flat shoes for the practical sessions.
