About this course

- Ask your way on public transport
- Talk and ask about the weekend
- Use basic verbs (eat, drink, watch, see, read, do, etc.) in the past and present forms
- Talk about your daily routine using basic verbs
- Use various particles and wh- questions
- Describe things using I and Na adjectives
- Use modifying nouns / adjective + noun
- Conjugation of I and na adjective
- Compliment your friends
- Write all Hiragana and Katakana.

Course programme

Greeting friends; place/location; talking about the weekend; compliments, visiting other company, asking your
way at the station or bus stop, practice of Hiragana.It would also be useful if you had some knowledge of basic grammar terminology such as nouns and verbs.

The course is based on the communicative approach: - active students’ interaction - emphasis on speaking and listening skills - pair and group work - role plays - use of realia, pictures and authentic material - use of audio-visual techniques when appropriate Please note, students are expected to participate in oral classroom activities and to do some homework as and when required.

Japanese beginners: module 3. Please enrol as soon as possible as spaces cannot be guaranteed.
