This workshop will teach you to perform a Japanese Facial Rejuvenation massage to professional standards. This powerful yet gentle facial rejuvenation treatment combines Eastern medical concepts and traditional Japanese facial massage techniques to release tension and stimulate the circulation, lymphatic and nervous systems of the face. Learn oil-based and non-oil based face massage sequences and acupressure points that balance and support the "ki" energy of the face.

About this course

- Identify relevant muscles and bones of the face
- Locate specific acupressure points on the face
- Complete a sequence using acupressure points
- Complete a sequence using oil and massage techniques.

There are no costs. You will need to bring three small dishes and three small hand towels. We will be using Bio Oil but if you have sensitive skin you may want to bring your own personal oil. Please wear suitable clothing for giving massage and suitable under-clothing such as a t-shirt or vest with thin straps.

Practical bodywork techniques that relieve tension in the face and neck using:
- Correct application of acupressure on the face
- Correct application of oil massage techniques for the face
- Application of relevant techniques using a dry cloth
- How to work with stubble
- Contra-indications
- Client care.

Discussion, hand-outs, worksheets, lecture, practical demonstration, pair work, small and large group work, practical work.

Any of our CPD or bodywork related courses: Mindful practitioner, Aromatherapy, Reflexology, Deep Tissue Massage, Advanced Massage using sports massage techniques, Native American Back Massage, Lomi Lomi or Lymphatic Drainage massage. Or chose from a wide range of modalities offered on our website.
