Web Design skills by learning the JavaScript Programing Language and want to build high-quality dynamic websites. JavaScript training programme has been designed to introduce web designers with a working knowledge of HTML to the fundamentals of JavaScript (an object-based, event-driven Web programming language), which tightly integrates with HTML. Upon successful completion of the course, you will receive a Certificate of Achievement with comprehensive feedback and analysis of your completed work, as well as the option to achieve the nationally accredited Open Awards Level 4 Certificate Award. The course is delivered through the Distance Learning new on-line training portal, which is accessed via a web browser such as Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome, or Safari. Throughout the course you will receive support via a personal course tutor who will give you feedback on your work at any time throughout your study. This course consists of 10 different lessons, which are designed to gradually build up and strengthen your technical knowledge. Throughout the lessons, interactive exercises have been specially designed to support your learning with multiple-choice quizzes and assignments at the end of each lesson to ensure a thorough understanding of the course content. You will receive step-by-step guidance throughout the lessons using innovative, interactive, multi-media computer-based training techniques, supported by highly-trained technical support specialists. The course is self-paced with no time pressure for completion; you will simply studies at home or at work when time permits. As you progress through the course, your JavaScript skills are honed via interesting assignments which involve the development of a number of dynamic, interactive games such as the Minefield and Connect4 games, which are both challenging to build and addictive to play. There is a final assignment which consists of the development of a technically demanding ‘Owzat cricket game, where the extensive JavaScript and jQuery skills learned during the course, are brought together to create a stunning application, which you will be rightly proud of. During the course you will be: • creating powerful JavaScript functions and event handlers • implementing dynamic HTML5 API's such as drag and drop and geolocation • working with jQuery for producing visually stunning effects and animations • incorporating AJAX and JSON technology • using the JavaScript Console, with debugging techniques and breakpoints and • constructing powerful interactive web-based applications
