Jewellery - Beginners Chain Mail

Chain mail is the technique of interlocking metal rings and is used to make stunning jewellery. In this fun and interactive beginners class with great results which is relatively easy to carry on making at home.

Techniques covered in this class include:
- Making your own jumprings
- Learn a range of different chain mail patterns.
- Experimenting with different materials. and students will have the chance to make a finished chain to take home. Popular class with great results!

Most students leave at the end of the day with a range of different samples using different chain mail patterns and a finished chain mail bracelet.

All of our expert tutors for this class have either run or are currently running their own successful jewellery business and have lots of inside hints and tips to share with you.

What you need to bring to this class: For this class you don't need to bring anything but yourself as everything is provided. However, it is a good idea to think about what you would like to make and bring any ideas you have; pictures, sketches or pieces you like. Don't worry if you don't have a project in mind as we have plenty of inspiration around our workshop too.

General Info: As with all of our classes, all materials are included in the cost of the class as well as plenty of tea coffee and luxury biscuits! The classes are all run by expert tutors with years of professional experience who are friendly, knowledgeable and approachable. The size of the classes is kept small to allow plenty of one-on-one attention and the maximum number of students for this class is 8.

We take an hour break for lunch and there are plenty of local shops to get food from, or you can always bring a packed lunch to eat in the studio. If you have any questions regarding this, or other courses please don't hesitate to get in touch.
