Jewellery - Intermediate Wax Carving

The perfect follow on class from our beginners wax carving course, but also great for anyone who has done some wax carving before and would like to take there skills to the next level.

Areas and techniques that can be covered in this class:
- More complex pieces including pendants and earrings.
- Designing and making a collection.
- Working with symmetry and being able to make symmetrical pieces.
- Developing ideas and creating pieces with multiple layers.
And much more...

You will be guided by our expert tutor on how to make your masters in wax. Students usually make 1 - 2 pieces of unique wax carved jewellery to take away depending on the complexity of the piece.

PLEASE NOTE: AS THIS IS A ONE DAY COURSE WE WILL ONLY BE WORKING IN WAX AS WE WILL NOT HAVE TIME TO SEND THE PIECE OFF TO BE CAST INTO SILVER. You will leave at the end of the day with your wax pieces and we will give you full information of places that you can take them to to have them cast into gold or silver.

General Info:
As with all of our classes, all materials are included in the cost of the class as well as plenty of tea coffee and luxury biscuits! The classes are all run by expert tutors with years of professional experience who are friendly, knowledgeable and approachable. The size of the classes is kept small to allow plenty of one-on-one attention and the maximum number of students for this class is 8.

We take an hour break for lunch and there are plenty of local shops to get food from, or you can always bring a packed lunch to eat in the studio. If you have any questions regarding this, or other courses please don't hesitate to get in touch.
