About the course:
I spent a very good experience at the Kaplan school in Bath. I stayed for three weeks and both teachers, and administrators did an exhaustive follow, always willing to help me if I had any questions or problems.
The house they chose for me was very successful, with Janet was a bit younger than me ma'am. I was in my own room just as I had requested. Janet tried my stay with her was good and got it. Even after three summers have relationship with her.
I can only thank everyone for taking care of both, while classes Kaplan served to launch me to speak the language that was what I had always been more complicated.

I followed in Adelaide English classes for four months with professors Kaplan. I appreciated the availability and professionalism of this school. Age 58 years, I was apprehensive about my integration in school because I was expecting to find very young groups. Everything is made to feel at ease and to find its place in different ability groups. Assessments are very well done in order to evolve and change levels.

Great experience last year I do not regret. My English level has really improved after 6 months at Kaplan. The teachers and the management team are great. The proposed activities and trips are very friendly too. This experience will bring you many things humanly speaking.
If you can, do not hesitate and go for it!
For cons, the host families are debated in Toronto. I would advise you another solution unless minor.

Best experience of my life! I was able to realize my dream to go to the other side of the world and finally learn to speak English properly! The school was amazing, facing the beach and the teachers had a teaching that I really appreciated! The students came from different countries (mainly German-speaking Switzerland, Japan, South Korea and South America) with very little french (I almost was the only one to speak French) that was very beneficial for me 'push' to speak only English daily for 6 months. I will ever stay in a Kaplan school without hesitation!

Hello, I would like to share my experience in London Kaplan school in the district of Holborn and on the proposed housing with! It's a real scam. I went because Kaplan school has a good image in the world and that I had heard only good but my stay 2months over there did not correspond at all to my expectations. Having an expensive apartment in a complex in Schordich included in the school prices (or for the passage Kaplan takes a sacred value more each week because they rent an apartment 50aine the year but nevermind. From the first day I arrived in a 9m2 chamber'm saying row but disgusting with hairs and hair everywhere, fingerprints on the wall of closets that did not close, a microwave broken with a hole 5cm in the window well the window broken! ????il there were 2 pans oNLY 1 tablespoon only 1 fork 1 knife only 1 soup plate and 2 plates. and that's it! My father who accompanied me to help me for the first days, how 2 people eat? We went down to reception to get an answer that the apartment was for one person and that there was no need for 2 people ...
But what if you wanted to propose to someone to come and eat at home? '' And done if you just eat at home thinking of taking a plate a stool and covered ...
For the microwave we had as answer that the hole was not harmful to health when used and the window going to remain broken for the weekend for the technical service only worked the week.
Imagine two days in the month of February with the half-open window the cold and snow entering my apartment.
Also during my stay of 2 months in this residence if people in your floors smoke in their room (either tobacco or cannabis even if it is totally forbidden or they make noise (music evening / musical instrument) you pass 2 months horrible!
To school on the first day you are made to pass a test to dispatcher you in different levels. To pass the level above you have to wait five weeks MUST. That means that if you miss your entrance test and you're not in a good level (so with people who start English for example) you are in OBLIGATION stay 5 long weeks in courses not adapted. Moreover if after his 5semaines you fail the test you leave about 5 weeks at the same level .... not suitable because the longer you stay the more you pay more KAPLAN gets sub in the pocket. Having failed my test 2 small points that's what happened to me and many other students.
In the classes we were crammed 15 per group bonded against each other. The teachers are nice, but overwhelmed by the numbers of students. It's a little daycare for children of rich unless everyone does not have the money to revise lessons or do exercises. The speaking is NOT in my case requesting exercises my teacher she answered me to go buy a book. All that to say that KAPLAN SCHOOL is really a school to avoid if you want to learn English as well as refine. Moreover after being KAPLAN I found several free schools or 40/50 euros per month with exactly the same courses at Kaplan. I hope my review will help in your research. I'm 21 and I stayed in Kaplan Edinburgh from August to early December in order to improve my English and prepare for the TOEIC. It was a very rewarding experience.
At first, I loved the city. If weather and dark stones may seem a little depressing at first, Edinburgh is an amazing city that combines both the atmosphere of a city and of a country village. In 5 minutes you can find yourself surrounded by nature and truly relax. The Scots are also very friendly and the nightlife is lively. I advise to come primarily because in August there is the Edinburgh Festival every year which makes extremely lively city.
I also liked the course and I met some great teachers who helped me a lot.
Above all, Kaplan helped me make friends from around the world, learn about many different cultures and so much fun on the day and night.
I advise you though to rather seek an apartment if you do not want to go with the family Home because although I liked being in a student residence, the price is not worth the shot.
In short I loved this experience, I highly recommend you to come to Edinburgh to study at Kaplan.

Kaplan has been for me is a great experience and it is an institution that I can only recommend if you want to learn English. The courses are diverse and varied for all levels, so you will not be lost as you move to the rhythm of your class. The teachers are very caring and concerned about the success of their students and are always behind you to guide you. They also support creating a teamwork some cohesion in the class. You will not feel alone because all the other students are also students from around the world for the same reason as you. The steps proposed activities the institution and also a great way to socialize and make new friends from all cultures. There you have, choosing Kaplan, professional pedagogy and entertainment.

I said to a responsible Kaplan and nothing has was rectified. Several times I tried to tell them anything and neither did! In addition, classes were very easy for me and I could not change class! or take intensive courses!
