I chose Kaplan to be totally immersed in an English speaking country. I did not was disappointed at the reception people are very friendly, always listening and do not hesitate to give you advice or help.
Regarding the course, I start in General English, very good course that enables progress in English on the vast subject.
I then was in business, which allowed me to immerse myself in a more technical vocabulary.
Many activities are offered throughout the year whether free or paid to the goodwill of everyone.
The school is really the center of Sydney which allows closeness to shops and other organizations.
I visited many things around Sydney since the school is either morning, afternoon or evening that you not let a lot of free time.
I really recommend Kaplan has any people wishing to study while traveling and discovering people worldwide.

On 1 month spent Kaplan Toronto there were 3 weeks on strike!
While the teachers were replaced lifted foot but the quality and progression of lessons have been largely unaffected.
Some workshops were simply deleted.
I wrote an email to my agency in France to explain the situation and was told (2 months!) That all lessons were insured and that basically, I tell stories.
A word about the family who welcomed me (homestay). I came across a couple of more Filipinos who spoke in their native language and English.
The meals were in separate rooms and at different times which does not really promotes exchanges.
But then again I probably tells stories.
Obviously I have not had any compensation.
In short Kaplan Toronto avoided.

I followed in Adelaide English classes for four months with professors Kaplan. I appreciated the availability and professionalism of this school. Age 58 years, I was apprehensive about my integration in school because I was expecting to find very young groups. Everything is made to feel at ease and to find its place in different ability groups. Assessments are very well done in order to evolve and change levels.
Thank you for this rewarding experience.

My experience in Kaplan could have been better (I think) if I had chosen the intensive and / or program I had joined the social and / or had been accompanied by my partner with whom speak English at all times.
I still have consolidated learning, perhaps at a pace a bit slow, but sure, jejej! I think the techniques used by teachers are good and the choice of host family too.
My discontent is not devoting more time to practice speaking and improve pronunciation. In the Choose the program 'vacation study' I get carried away by the Agent with
I contacted, but I guess the
only responsible choice was me.
I know what Kaplan now repeat the experience, but choosing better
program and getting involved more.

Studying at Kaplan Edinburgh is a wonderful experience, the school staff is adorable and we are not in huge groups (about 15 students). This is a real chance for me to have spent four weeks here.

Experience is always good but had a problem with the accommodating portion. We promised to take rooms in the same apartment and we were not on the same floor.

Kaplan has been for me is a great experience and it is an institution that I can only recommend if you want to learn English. The courses are diverse and varied for all levels, so you will not be lost as you move to the rhythm of your class. The teachers are very caring and concerned about the success of their students and are always behind you to guide you. They also support creating a teamwork some cohesion in the class. You will not feel alone because all the other students are also students from around the world for the same reason as you. The steps proposed activities the institution and also a great way to socialize and make new friends from all cultures. There you have, choosing Kaplan, professional pedagogy and entertainment.

They offered some tutoring but not enough to make up for the price I paid. I asked to be more and they refused. Despite many claims on my return, I had no compensation

I chose Kaplan for 3 weeks can not stay longer. I think this is the minimum for a minimum of progress. The number of students per class is around 10 which allows really able to express and exchange with the teacher. Many activities are offered by the school to all rates. The exchange between students and teachers is easy and enjoyable! I chose to be in a foster home. For a short time I think this is ideal but not for long. Nevertheless it can be exchanged at any time if there is a problem. I have not had the need to change even though my family was relativiement busy. I would want to trade advantage, but the experience was very rewarding. I hope to retry the experiment next year.

I spent 3 months at Kaplan Oxford. I really enjoyed this experience, people (school or outside) are all really nice and willing to help at all times. The atmosphere is very friendly and cheerful. The staff was always understandable, and listening, and solve the problems, if any, very quickly. I highly recommend choosing this school if the desire to learn English and make new friends from around the world present. I am rather large city that moves constantly, such as London, I did not much like the city of Oxford, but I am very happy to have chosen for my 3 months in England.

I'll share my sad experience with the school organization Coral Gables (Miami). Let's start with the positives. The courses are of good quality with motivated teachers and very teacher. The school is well equipped with a computer room and digital paintings very practice for learning a language.
Let the downside is that everything is complicated: The proposed Housing in Ponce de Leon hotel is really unacceptable! The hotel is not even worthy of a 1 star hotel in France. The room stinks of moldy (high humidity in Miami), the essential air conditioning here is VERY VERY noisy and walking and finally has half the kitchenette promised by the body comes down to a minibar fridge (impossible to put a large bottle, for example) and a microwave. To top it off, the maid is gone after my application after 2 weeks to change the sheets. A 1000 euros a month it is a real shame!
This is where things get complicated with the school I ask another dwelling impossible for the school to help me, then I request a refund of the remaining month that Kaplan France refused on the grounds that in the general conditions of sale it is notified that an 8-week notice is applied. In short, having found another solution I have just lost nearly 3,000 euros in the first home.
BUT, the worst is to come .... At least in January unfortunately I fall sick I finished in the hospital and missed nine days of the course, I warn school but nothing there ... My stewardship falls less than 80% to 76.9 exactly, the school then report me to the government that excludes me directly from a territory with a delay of 7 days. Yet I bring all receipts, certificate from the hospital etc ... They want to hear or accept proof pretext that the government refuse what is totally wrong elsewhere.
So I turn back to Kaplan France. They will not even listened to me brings me no solution and are also very rude including 'commercial'. I request the manager who avoids all my calls. The school promises me a solution and makes me wait After 1 month without news. I have to constantly restart but nothing happens. Do me that remaining 2 months of classes they played shows boats leading me to lose much time. In the end, no transfer possible in another country, no refunds. Pressure from their very strong hand to make me leave the territory as soon as possible. The 'commercial' very courteous before payment of school transform once the transfer is made.
In short, Kaplan who nevertheless has an educational role to play not to live up to its promises. This company advocates the teaching is nothing but a 'cash machine' American. Attention to the Terms of Sale of 10 pages.

This is where things get complicated with the school I ask another dwelling impossible for the school to help me, then I request a refund of the remaining month that Kaplan France refused on the grounds that in the general conditions of sale it is notified that an 8-week notice is applied. In short, having found another solution I have just lost nearly 3,000 euros in the first home.
BUT, the worst is to come .... At least in January unfortunately I fall sick I finished in the hospital and missed nine days of the course, I warn school but nothing there ... My stewardship falls less than 80% to 76.9 exactly, the school then report me to the government that excludes me directly from a territory with a delay of 7 days. Yet I bring all receipts, certificate from the hospital etc ... They want to hear or accept proof pretext that the government refuse what is totally wrong elsewhere.
So I turn back to Kaplan France. They will not even listened to me brings me no solution and are also very rude including 'commercial'. I request the manager who avoids all my calls. The school promises me a solution and makes me wait After 1 month without news. I have to constantly restart but nothing happens. Do me that remaining 2 months of classes they played shows boats leading me to lose much time. In the end, no transfer possible in another country, no refunds. Pressure from their very strong hand to make me leave the territory as soon as possible. The 'commercial' very courteous before payment of school transform once the transfer is made.
In short, Kaplan who nevertheless has an educational role to play not to live up to its promises. This company advocates the teaching is nothing but a 'cash machine' American. Attention to the Terms of Sale of 10 pages.

I spent 3 months at Kaplan Oxford. I really enjoyed this experience, people (school or outside) are all really nice and willing to help at all times. The atmosphere is very friendly and cheerful. The staff was always understandable, and listening, and solve the problems, if any, very quickly. I highly recommend choosing this school if the desire to learn English and make new friends from around the world present. I am rather large city that moves constantly, such as London, I did not much like the city of Oxford, but I am very happy to have chosen for my 3 months in England.

Excellent school! I spent 6 weeks of classes, a teaching team was very attentive and always positive and caring. The courses are well balanced between grammar and exercises, with many oral. The mixed cultures is very interesting and rewarding! For my part, I have participated in any activities outside school, but the program looks very nice with visits and games.

I think Kaplan is good for people who love the school and are rigorous. You have to be involved 100% to see a positive progression. If you're not someone to focus and do not like working Kaplan courses after you will not have anything you have other ways to learn English for free out meeting people all around you . For me it was not beneficial.

My experience has been very prolific Kaplan. Just in 4 weeks I could see my progession nothing has spoken. Ediburgo last experience was pretty bad. I was in a house that did not meet the minimum hygiene. Pedi it was not a smoking house and it was. The owner smoked every day and my room always smelled snuff. The sink was so dirty I had to point me to a gym to shower there.
There I complained and I did, even in writing and I received neither warnings nor apologies ...
I already wrote saying that after your disinterest not repeat more Kapplan. In fact, I have always recommended pq had two good experiences but never will. Inattention regarding the ultimate experience offended me.

Hello, I would like to share my experience in London Kaplan school in the district of Holborn and on the proposed housing with! It's a real scam. I went because Kaplan school has a good image in the world and that I had heard only good but my stay 2months over there did not correspond at all to my expectations. Having an expensive apartment in a complex in Schordich included in the school prices (or for the passage Kaplan takes a sacred value more each week because they rent an apartment 50aine the year but nevermind. From the first day I arrived in a 9m2 chamber'm saying row but disgusting with hairs and hair everywhere, fingerprints on the wall of closets that did not close, a microwave broken with a hole 5cm in the window well the window broken! ????il there were 2 pans oNLY 1 tablespoon only 1 fork 1 knife only 1 soup plate and 2 plates. and that's it! My father who accompanied me to help me for the first days, how 2 people eat? We went down to reception to get an answer that the apartment was for one person and that there was no need for 2 people ...
But what if you wanted to propose to someone to come and eat at home? '' And done if you just eat at home thinking of taking a plate a stool and covered ...
For the microwave we had as answer that the hole was not harmful to health when used and the window going to remain broken for the weekend for the technical service only worked the week.
Imagine two days in the month of February with the half-open window the cold and snow entering my apartment.
Also during my stay of 2 months in this residence if people in your floors smoke in their room (either tobacco or cannabis even if it is totally forbidden or they make noise (music evening / musical instrument) you pass 2 months horrible!
To school on the first day you are made to pass a test to dispatcher you in different levels. To pass the level above you have to wait five weeks MUST. That means that if you miss your entrance test and you're not in a good level (so with people who start English for example) you are in OBLIGATION stay 5 long weeks in courses not adapted. Moreover if after his 5semaines you fail the test you leave about 5 weeks at the same level .... not suitable because the longer you stay the more you pay more KAPLAN gets sub in the pocket. Having failed my test 2 small points that's what happened to me and many other students.
In the classes we were crammed 15 per group bonded against each other. The teachers are nice, but overwhelmed by the numbers of students. It's a little daycare for children of rich unless everyone does not have the money to revise lessons or do exercises. The speaking is NOT in my case requesting exercises my teacher she answered me to go buy a book. All that to say that KAPLAN SCHOOL is really a school to avoid if you want to learn English as well as refine. Moreover after being KAPLAN I found several free schools or 40/50 euros per month with exactly the same courses at Kaplan. I hope my review will help in your research. I took the offer Super Intensive semester in London. It's really a great experience !!!!!! The teachers are really great and quality. I started in the lower intermediate group (A2) and I'm in the group upper intermediate (B2) and I still have three months! The school is very attentive and makes easy to change something if we want (course schedules, changing elective courses, changing accommodation if that was not like we do etc.).
The school, located in central London enjoys a great location in order to visit London after classes.

The teachers I had were very conscientious and committed to move us forward. Applied Pedagogy was very dynamic, well structured and rich knowledge and new information. Good material also educational. I feel I have had a very good language course, more interesting than those I knew before (it was my 7th).
