I offer mindfulness-based stress reduction courses for groups and individual counselling / psychotherapy aimed at the alleviation of any distress that you might be experiencing as you journey through life. We all struggle at times, and can often find ways through with the help of family and freinds. However, there can be times when we need extra support from outwith our usual circle; and this is when one to one counselling or a group approach can be crucial for our wellbeing.

I am a qualified and experienced counsellor having worked with a wide range of clients in the voluntary sector and privately for 10 years. I teach Counselling skills with Jewel & Esk College. My interest in Buddhism and meditation over years led me to study Mindfulness with Bangor Uni. The integration of Eastern and Western approaches to health and well-being informs and inspires my practise. Qualifications: Ad. Dip. Counselling 2002 SVQ3 Social Care 2002 Cert. in Training Practise 2006 PG Dip. Mindfulness Based Approaches 3rd year. COSCA Cert. in Supervision Skills 2010


I have been counselling for 10 years in the voluntary sector and privately and met a wide range of clients for both long and short term work. I presently work as a counsellor for the PF counselling agency and VOCAL.
I have been interested in Buddhism for 30 years and more recently with the Mindfulness approaches to health and wellbeing. I teach counselling at Jewel & Esk college and Mindfulness courses in Edinburgh and Midlothian.
