  • recently done the kitchen fitting course with john,john has a lot of knowledge that he is more than prepared to share absolutely loved this course so much so that i instantly enrolled in the tiling course which I'm half way through and was equally as informative and kev has all the tools and experience to teach what i need to know,ive enrolled in the carpentry course next with john again and can't wait to get stuck in and I've also enrolled in the plastering, if you have any doubts don't as everyone i was on the course with left with the tools to try this themselves at home plus what you learn for the price of the course its a no brainer, get training people the more you want out of it the more you will get

Course programme

Kitchen Fitting

Anyone who is enthusiastic and willing to learn can come on this course it is designed so you can either move on and develop a career in kitchen fitting or look at completing your own DIY projects.
Course Contents:
  • Knowing your tools and how to use them correctly
  • Measuring and planning your kitchen
  • How to build a kitchen carcass from flat pack
  • How to fix base units
  • How to hang wall units
  • How to cut a worktop with a masons mitre, using a router and jig
  • How to align and hang kitchen doors
  • How to make up and fit a draw
  • How to cut pelmets of cornices
  • How to cut out sinks
Once you have completed this course you will get a certificate, handbook, a photo portfolio of your work for you to build up and a free t-shirt.
Course timetable
This is a five day course running Monday to Friday from 9.30am to 4.30pm, alternatively it can be spread over two weekends on Saturday and Sunday 9am to 5pm.
Safety
It is important that safety boots and suitable work clothes are worn on this course.
Prices
All courses, midweek & weekend.
Special Introductory Price £350 +vat
A deposit of £50 will be required upon booking your place and all courses must be paid in full two weeks in advance of course start date.
