History

With over 15 years experience in both Glass Fusing and Traditional Leadlight and a wealth of experience teaching glass at adult education, Jan Simpson is able to offer a well rounded course that aims to arm you with the knowledge you need to decided to carry your interest in glass further. Jan can supply you with access to the studio to carry on your practice and will also offer you a wealth of technical and practical information as you continue down your learning path. In addition, over the next 12 months Koru Arts will be adding a series of masterclasses inviting well known artists from around the UK to come and demonstrate and share with you their skills and expertise in glass techniques - from working with frits to traditional glass painting techniques - Koru Arts is aiming to provide a full range of courses that are not generally easily accessible.

Fully equipped working studios in a lovely environment surrounded by beautiful artwork makes this a lovely way to spend your day. You will benefit from receiving a fairly technical and detailed introduction to the processes required to create the items you are working on. When leaving the course you should feel fully versed in the aspects of design and creation that allow you to understand how to approach your own individual design ideas.

Working gallery and studio providing one day workshops in Fused Glass, Stained Glass, Dichroic Jewellery Making. One day workshops with lunch supplied in a beautiful rural location in Hampshire. All courses run by professional artists and instructors. In addition we have a wide variety of affordable art available for sale.
