This new suite of qualifications replaces the A1 and A2 assessor awards and the V1 internal verifier award. These practitioner qualifications are designed to support the assessment and quality assurance of all new QCF qualifications including: Apprenticeships, Functional Skills, Technical Certificates, NVQ’s, Awards, Certificates and Diplomas

About this course

Course 1 would suit someone wanting to start out in the assessing world but does not yet currently assess.
For Courses 2 & 3 you need to have access to at least 2 candidates that you can assess either in a classroom type environment or workplace.

Each qualification includes a full days training followed by one-to-one work with your TAQA assessor at a time to be arranged.

Depending on your requirements and circumstances one of the following:
1. Level 3 Award in Understanding the Principles and Practices of Assessment
2. Level 3 Award in Assessing Competence in the Work Environment
3. Level 3 Award in Assessing Vocationally Related Achievement
Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement
