This workshop is an opportunity to engage with the local landscape directly and in the studio. In the morning, we'll meet at Woodberry Wetlands/East & West reservoirs in Stoke Newington and spend a few hours making studies directly from nature, and in the afternoon we'll translate theses sketches into a larger, more sustained painting in oils back at the studio. This is a chance to slow down and immerse yourself in your local natural setting, paying close attention to the light, colours and textures around you. We'll be walking about a mile aback to the studio afterwards. Appropriate for beginner and more advanced painters. The group is small (6 people max) and a great deal of individual attention is given. We will go out rain or shine, so be prepared to work in any weather!

A fun combination of working outside and back in the studio. Very experiential.
