The course is based on the communicative approach and aims at a high level of student interaction with pair and group work. The pace will be fast and challenging but fun. Please note that students are expected to participate in oral classroom activities and to do 2-3 hours homework per week. Textbook: Reading Latin by Peter Jones and Keith Sidwell (CUP) – 3 Volumes: Text (ISBN 9780521286220), Grammar Vocabulary and Exercises (ISBN 9780521286237) and Study Guide (ISBN 97805216537328).Some copies are available in the Library for use during this course.
