Course programme

We will translate, examine and discuss the epistles by Pliny the Younger.

Whole class work; translation at a gentle pace; tutor posing questions and answering questions raised by the students. General discussion on language, style, main topics, etc. Students will be asked to prepare a portion of the text for each class. Pliny the Younger, Fifty Letters of Pliny, ed. by A. N.
