Leadership and Management in Practice pt

The module will enable you to reflect upon, analyse and critically evaluate the needs of the workforce and utilise different concepts and approaches to work psychology. This will enable you to consider concepts of planned organisational change driven by internal and external environments. For example changes in legislation or in clients/co –workers needs or expectations as well as traditional management and teambuilding skills necessary for effective workplaces. This course will enable you to understand the need for strategic vision, planning and budget control in the delivery of effective care and education within the current professional/ethical and legal context.

This course is also available as a non-credit bearing module. Students choosing this option will be awarded a certificate of Continuing Professional Development hours but will not be required to undertake the final assessment.
