This course is designed to develop your healthcare career. You’ll examine decision making, service design, implementation of change, patient safety and risk management in a range of healthcare settings.

While examining both contemporary policy, practice and leadership theory, we’ll also help you understand how all these apply to real-world situations. During your time with us, we’ll also encourage you to create a reflective portfolio so you can evaluate and reflect on your own practice.

Once you’ve graduated, you’ll be ready to meet the current and future needs of health service users in the UK and beyond.

Are you ready to meet the challenges of twenty-first century healthcare?

If you’re a healthcare professional, this course could enhance your existing skills, knowledge and understanding so you’re ready to take on leadership and management responsibilities in a healthcare organisation. We’ll help you develop into a visionary leader who can inspire others and provide high quality, innovative healthcare around the world.

You’ll learn alongside students on other healthcare courses, and share knowledge and ideas from all areas of healthcare.

A minimum of a 2:2 in a relevant UK honours degree, or a recognised equivalent international qualification. You should be currently working in a leadership or management role within a healthcare setting. You may be a registered healthcare professional or a healthcare manager.
